Chalet La Coha Luxury Ski Chalet in the Heart of Grimentz

Chalet La Coha is a luxury, interior-designed, 4 bedroom stand alone ski chalet beautifully renovated in 2013. It is perfectly located close to the lifts and shops of Grimentz and has stunning views over the old village of Grimentz and the Anniviers valley beyond.

The chalet is within 200 metres or a 4 minute walk of the departure of the Grimentz telecabine and of the new long-awaited cable car linking the ski resorts of Grimentz and Zinal. The chalet is also within 100 metres of the old town and shops, ideal for an after ski stroll.

Completely renovated to a high standard in 2013, Chalet La Coha has a beautiful open plan living room with a large traditional wood burning fireplace. It has a brand new, fully equiped, Bulthaup kitchen (with Miele appliances) that leads out onto a large sun terrace. On the same floor is a TV room with a 3D home cinema system. Chalet La Coha has been wired for fast internet wifi, and has a great music system with B&W speakers and i-pod connectivity. Of course, there is a small selection of movies, books, and board games for your use.

The chalet extends over 3 floors. On the ground floor are two bedrooms with bunk beds (plus a third pullout bed) and one double bedroom, 2 bathrooms with showers and the latest modern fittings, and a heart-warming sauna. On the top floor is the fantastic master bedroom with en suite open bathroom, with stand alone bath and walk in shower and a separate WC. The chalet has 3 bathrooms and a guest loo. Please note that the chalet is best suited for 8 people, however, because the two bunk rooms have extra pull-out beds it can accommodate two extra people (ideally children).

Although the chalet is a stone throw from the old village, it has its own large private garden, an ideal place for children to run around and have snowball fights! It also has a closed off large terrace with sun loungers for that apres-ski chill-out moment. There is a Weber BBQ for balmier evenings. Although the kitchen is fully equipped you may prefer to rent the chalet on a catered basis. Working with a local company we are able to deliver ready prepared home-made meals, either on a daily basis or on that day when you really don't feel like cooking. Concierge services are also included, these can include arrangements for transportation, delivery of ski passes, recommendation of a mountain guide, restaurant bookings or a massage at home. Nothing beats the knowledge of a local concierge!
