A security deposit of CHF 2000 is required prior to the commencement of the rental period. This deposit will cover any meaningful breakages or damages.Should no issues arise, the deposit will be refunded in full, within 7 days following the end of the rental period. If the security deposit is insufficient you will remain liable for any excess.

You may arrive at the chalet from 4pm on the day of arrival and you must vacate by 10am on the day of departure.

We strongly recommend that you have adequate travel insurance in place to cover these charges (it has happened to us in the past and we were very grateful to have it in place!)

It is highly unlikely that we will have to alter or cancel the confirmed booking but wemust reserve the right to do so. Of course you will be offered a full refundunless the alteration or cancellation is as a result of “Force Majeure”. We will notpay any compensation. We regret that we cannot accept liability where the performance of our obligations is prevented or affected by 'force majeure'. For the purposes hereof, 'force majeure' means any event, which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may includewar or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.

We must reserve the right to terminate without notice and liability theholiday of any tenant whose behaviour is likely to disrupt the enjoyment ofothers on holiday or cause damage to the property or any third party. You will also be liable to forfeit the security deposit, if we receive complaints from neighbours regarding unruly behaviour of any tenants or their guests.

We cannot be responsible for the loss or damage to your personal items, including money. Personal items remain your sole responsibility.

We ask that you maintain the property, furniture, finishings and equipment in the same state as at the commencement of the rental period, and you will remain liable for any damage caused in excess of the security deposit.

A final clean is included in the rental price, however you undertake to leave the property in a reasonable state of order and cleanliness, for example disposing of all rubbish ondeparture. Extra cleaning by the cleaning staff over and above what is usual on the day of departure will be charged for, and deducted from the security deposit.

You will without delay report any defects in the property or breakdown in theequipment, machinery or appliances in or on the property, and arrangements will be made for repair or replacement as soon as reasonably possible. Although we will ensure that all of the equipment at the property is in working order, we cannot be held liable for any issues with the equipment during your stay.

You will allow maintenance personnel, cleaning staff and our agent reasonable access tothe property.

You accept responsibility for the behaviour and welfare of any children in your party.Every effort is made to ensure safety in the property, but any tenants taking children to the chalet do so at their own risk. Although the chalet is used by a family, it has not been baby or toddler proof, so please bear this in mind. For example, there are no socket covers and no gates to the stairs.

Pets are not allowed unless previously agreed in writing.

The Chalet is strictly a non-smoking property. We therefore ask that smoking takes place outside and all associated waste cleaned up. You agree that the security deposit will be forfeited if this condition is breached.

Only logs may be burned on the fire and, after the fire is lit, the glass fire door should be kept closed at all times. No household rubbish or any other item should be placed on the fire. No candles or any other item which has an open flame may be burned in or near the chalet as this constitutes a fire hazard.

The maximum occupancy for the property is 10. Numbers of occupants in excess of this, subletting or sharing of the property is not permitted under any circumstances. Violation of this term will result in immediate termination of your rental, and forfeiture of all payments.
